Julie Kwong, MPT.
Hello! After graduating from CSU Long Beach in 2012, my path from traditional physical therapy to Women’s Health began after learning I had unexplained infertility. This was the pivotal shift that launched my passion for pelvic health and diving deeper than most believe possible when scratching the typical surface of pelvic floor health. My healing journey through infertility, prolapse, traumatic birth, C-section, DRA and perimenopause has significantly shaped the therapist I am today and ignited a passion to support women through all phases of life.
I founded Lady Bits in 2017 with the dream of creating a cozy healing environment for women to experience profound healing and rediscovery of what’s possible in their bodies. I wanted more than just a functional space, but something truly special: a place where my soul feels at peace while doing what God has blessed as my purpose on this earth. As Lady Bits grew to support more women than I could help, I have been blessed to have found a team of women dedicated to serving others through some of the most vulnerable and miraculous times of life. I am honored and dedicated to work with every lady trusting me with her special bits.
Cherise Van Vuuren, DPT
Hello! My name is Cherise and I am honored to be a part of the team at Lady Bits. I graduated from the University of St Augustine in 2020 with a clinical doctorate of PT and worked in outpatient, inpatient and home health settings with a broad scope of patients and ailments in my first few years. Even though my schooling was very manual therapy-based, I found that most clinics didn’t have the ability to provide that to patients. I was lucky to align my passion for women’s health and hands-on healing after my own pregnancy and postpartum journey when I found Lady Bits. I know the value of a personalized approach with someone who can spend the time to really listen to you and your needs. I can’t wait to be your gal to help you feel your best!
Andrea Johnson, OT
Hi! I grew up in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and moved to California as a young adult in search of adventure. I graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Alberta and have been licensed in California since 2007. I spent most of my career working in medical rehab. My interest in post-partum care was initiated by the birth of my first child in 2015. After the birth of my second child in 2019, my own need for postpartum rehab and pelvic floor therapy led me to Lady Bits Physical Therapy, and with it the answer to how I could be a part of giving women the care, support, and healing they deserve.
As an Occupational Therapist, I approach your care looking at the daily activities that pelvic floor issues are interfering with and focus treatment on getting back to pain-free experiences having sex, bowel and bladder function, and taking care of your family.

Tybel Dombrowski, OT.
(Currently Out on Maternity Leave)
Hi there, I’m Tybel Dombrowski and I am overjoyed to be joining Lady Bits Physical Therapy! I feel fortunate to be joining a practice that supports and empowers women through education and skilled therapy. I’m a licensed occupational therapist with a background working with physical disabilities in a skilled nursing setting. However, my personal health journey, birth of a child and experience with pelvic floor therapy has led me to focus my career on women’s health. I know first hand how impactful pelvic floor dysfunction and pain can be and am thrilled to work with women to meet their goals and improve their quality of life. Health is multi-dimensional and my training as an occupational therapist allows me to focus on each individual and what is important to them. I look forward to working with you on meeting your goals and helping you to care for your lady bits.
